About
We built DropCPL because the number was wrong
The CPL in your ad platform is a model, not a measurement. DropCPL exists to give paid social teams the number they can act on: the real cost per lead of each ad and each landing page, measured first-party.
What DropCPL is
DropCPL is a creative attribution platform for paid social. It generates and hosts your landing pages, tracks the click first-party on a domain you own, pulls spend from the ad platform, and shows the real CPL of every ad × landing page combination. It also creates the ads on Meta and runs the A/B tests between landing page variants.
Why it exists
Because campaign-level reporting cannot explain a bad month. When a campaign gets more expensive, the reason is almost always one creative or one page — and campaign averages hide exactly that. The usual fix is to buy another dashboard, which adds a second number that disagrees with the first.
The other reason is that measurement itself kept getting harder. Browser restrictions removed the identifiers that third-party pixels relied on, and the platform numbers that replaced them are partly modelled. We wanted the number to come from the click and the form again.
How we work
- The measurement has to survive. If the identifier is lost on the way to the form, everything downstream is a guess.
- The first-party number is the one we decide on. Platform numbers are for optimising the platform; ours is for deciding what to cut and what to scale.
- The agent executes. Analysis that ends in a suggestion still leaves the work to you. DropCPL can pause, cut and launch.
- No ceiling on the page. Landing pages are HTML you can edit, not blocks you are given.
- Honest numbers over flattering ones. Deduplication, attribution windows and exclusions are documented, not tuned to look good.
