DropCPL vs Voluum

Voluum is a cloud tracker. It sits between the ad and the page as a redirect, or inside the page as a script, and reports clicks and conversions from every traffic source in one place. It is built around the affiliate model: you have offers, landers and affiliate networks, and the product decides which combination each visitor should see. It is a different category from lead attribution: it is the tool that tells a media buyer which offer and which lander are winning right now.

Flat subscription: the price does not follow your revenue, and it is the same on every plan.

Where Voluum is the right choice

  • → Traffic distribution is the one thing it does that DropCPL does not attempt: it routes each visitor to the offer, lander and path that is currently winning, across dozens of traffic sources and not only Meta.
  • → Custom and dedicated tracking domains with SSL are part of the plans, so tracking stays first-party and your own domain keeps its reputation.
  • → Deep Facebook integration for ad and ad set management plus cost synchronisation, with 50+ traffic source templates and 20+ API integrations.
  • → Anti-fraud kit and landing page protection, which matter when you buy traffic from networks you do not control.
  • → An MCP server, so an AI agent can read your data and, on higher plans, write to campaigns.
  • → It is explicit about its own boundary: "Voluum doesn't develop nor hosts landing pages, you have to take care it on your own."

How DropCPL differs

A tracker vs a system that owns the page

Voluum tracks pages you host and deploy yourself, and in script mode it requires its tracking script inside them. DropCPL generates, hosts and versions the landing page, so testing a page is one change in one place instead of a deploy on your side plus a tracking check.

Affiliate offers vs your own funnel

Voluum is shaped around offers and affiliate networks, with postbacks arriving from a network. DropCPL is shaped around your own lead: a click on your ad, a page on your domain, a form you own. If there is no affiliate network in the middle, the offer-and-lander model is structure you pay for and never use.

Caps and overages vs flat plans

Voluum prices by events, active campaigns, retention months and custom domains, and charges per 1,000 events above the cap. DropCPL is a flat subscription per plan: the bill does not move because a campaign went viral.

Where they overlap

Both products exist because the click the platform reports is not enough to decide on. Both also take privacy seriously rather than as a marketing line: Voluum ships cookieless tracking and first-party cookies, and both would rather measure less and verify it than report a modelled number.

Which one fits your problem

If you buy traffic from affiliate networks, run many traffic sources, and need to route visitors between offers and landers in real time, Voluum is the right shape and DropCPL is not. If you run your own ads to your own landing page, and the question is which creative and which page produced the lead and at what cost, DropCPL is aimed at that question.

FAQ

Is Voluum an attribution platform?+

It is a tracker, and a good one. It attributes conversions to clicks, campaigns, offers and landers. It does not model multi-touch attribution over a long consideration cycle, and it does not report revenue-side metrics like lifetime value.

Does Voluum host landing pages?+

No, and its own documentation says so: "Voluum doesn't develop nor hosts landing pages, you have to take care it on your own." You can still split test landers inside Voluum by routing traffic between URLs you host yourself.

Can I use Voluum and DropCPL together?+

You could, but both would be competing to be the first step of the funnel, and you would pay twice for the same measurement. Pick the one that matches your conversion: an affiliate offer, or a form you own.
